At R2 Upload, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for our subscription plans and credit purchases. We strive to be fair and transparent in all billing matters.
All payments are processed securely by Paddle. By purchasing a plan or credits, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all annual subscription plans. To qualify for a full refund of your annual plan:
If your usage exceeds 10% of your quota within the 30-day window, we reserve the right to deny the refund or issue a pro-rated refund at our discretion.
Monthly subscription plans are non-refundable. Because monthly plans are billed in advance for a short billing period, we are unable to offer refunds once the billing cycle has started. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges — your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Exception: If you were charged due to a billing error or a technical fault on our end (e.g., a duplicate charge), please contact us immediately and we will issue a full refund.
Additional credits purchased separately (outside of a subscription plan) are non-refundable once they have been partially or fully consumed. If credits were purchased but remain entirely unused, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
The Free tier does not involve any payment, so no refunds are applicable. Free accounts may be subject to usage restrictions as outlined in our Terms of Service.
If R2 Upload experiences a significant, verified service outage that materially impacts your ability to use the platform, you may be eligible for a pro-rated service credit applied to your next billing cycle. Refunds for outages are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are subject to our SLA terms.
Service credits issued for outages are not redeemable for cash and may only be applied to future R2 Upload charges.
If R2 Upload terminates your account for a violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., uploading illegal content, abuse of the platform), no refund will be issued. We reserve the right to make this determination at our sole discretion.
If we terminate your account for reasons unrelated to policy violations (e.g., we discontinue a service), we will provide a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of a prepaid annual subscription.
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may result in the immediate suspension of your account. We are committed to resolving all billing disputes fairly and promptly.
Downgrades: If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No partial refund is issued for the remaining days on the higher-tier plan.
Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. Your access will continue until the end of the current paid period. We do not charge cancellation fees.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
